Talk about MMORPGS you've played or plan on playing.
First one I've played was Dark Age of Camelot. Not so good PvE, but has arguably the best PvP system out there. Been out over 7 years and I think is close to dieing now. Sunk about 200 days playtime in this one.
Second one was World of Warcraft which I'm sure everyone here knows about. Really enjoyed the PvE, but could never get into raiding or PvP. Most likely going back to this one this Winter vacation.
Next is Dungeons and Dragons Online. Although it has it's fair share of problems, I find it a bit underrated by the MMO crowd. It relies too much on having to group, but compared to other MMOs I find it easier to get groups and some of the dungeons I find really fun. In my experience it also has one of the best communities, beat only by Dark Age of Camelot in it's earlier days.
In a few months I might try Warhammer Online. It's made by Mythic (the same company that made Dark Age of Camelot), so I'm confident the PVP will be good. It came out not too long ago and from what I'm been hearing still has some kinks to work out. Waiting till those issues get fixed before trying it.

I like RuneScape(please don't let this start a flame war involving things like "OMG Runescape sucks you friggen noob" or "What are you, 5?"), because of the depth of the quests, the fact that it is free and browser based, and the fact that the free version doesn't seem like a trial of the full game(although I am a member atm)
