That's Right! SMA Remix is Here!
Before you ask about why I chose the title, it's because of the terms 'Beat Juggling' and 'Remix' have a familiar taste. But I'm not supposed to be talking about DJ Hero; I'm should be talking about SMA. In an intelligent man's paraphrasing of a line from an early episode, it is safe to say that "Teamwork is equal to excrement from a male cow".

i have very mixed feelings about this however, i will have to give them credit for the editing. particularly during the fight scene, it just seemed to be real cohesive imo

I love how the Remix was basically a satire of the whole Teamwork is the key theme that's in every kiddie show that involves a team.

The voices...the voices threw me off SO much. And I loved the remix opening song. As for the actual episode, it wasn't as great as some of their stuff, but it wasn't bad either. I enjoyed it.

I'll admit it was far from the best work and I was kinda hoping they were going to cover one of the lost episodes instead of just throwing scenes from various episodes together. But it still made me chuckle.

If they made a series out of this, I imagine the novelty would wear off quick, but for a single episode I thought it was good.
Jadeite's voice at times reminded me of Melvin's. Sailor Mercury saying blue was funnier then it should have been. Liked the joke they had with Venus' song and Sailor Moon's song was hilarious. Pretty much all the songs they chose were good.

Agreed on all points there. BTW, was there a SM Says for that episode? Or did the SMA crew just skip that for no reason?

At the risk of sounding like an asshole, you did realize that the remix episode wasn't any specific episode and just clips from various episodes thrown together? There was no SM Says to do or skip.

Ok, point taken. You didn't sound like an a-hole. I just look like a dumbass. Although they could have simply made one up, I guess...

yeah...i also didn't enjoy it as much as the normal SMA episodes (I don't think the word "normal" is appropriate)...I guess we got attached to the characters they made up.

^ I don't think it was just that. This remix episode didn't seem like it was suppose to be funny in the same way as the usual SMA episode is. More like a satire of how the DIC promo ad presented itself.

I wonder why they called this episode "episode 41". Couldn't they have just called it "SMA Remix"? It's going to throw off the second season.
