This thread be to confuse mere mortals into following your will.
Telleth me, dear traveler, what be the purpose of string cheese? Riddle me that, and ye shall pass the pit of flames.

Half and half not, not quite what I meant, but an acceptable guess just the same. I type in verse, but ye need not, answering what is asked is the game.
In prose, there is already a random questions thread. This is more for riddles with definite answers. I don't know if that last question fit, so I'll leave it open for now. Try this one while you're at it:
Take the hue of the leader of those that guard the orchard where angels eat. Put this on the reason people gather to this place. And what do you get, pray tell me?

No smart enough to type in verse, I am. Leave this thread to the professionals, I will. ;D

ANSWER: The land of Eden where Angels eat where the fruit of Life is eternally white. Perhaps the answer is oh so sweet but perhaps I am not right.
RIDDLE: It works where other men awaken It rests standing tall in the air. A hint of red betrays your secret I saw you sire your heir.

Not a bad guess, but not what I thought. Think both less literally, and more.
Not able to think in verse right now due to math burn-out, but would the answer be the sunrise? (Or rather, the rising sun).

It is not the rising sun.

Hmm.... Well, I'm still puzzling out Raekuul's but I figured I'd throw in a hint for mine.
What's a synonym for orchard? Put angel in front of that.

Aha! The hint made it painfully clear An Angel Grove is what we have here!
As for mine, a hint is at hand; because sleeping here is the law of the land.
It works where other men awaken It rests standing tall in the air. A hint of red betrays your secret I saw you sire your heir. It is a comforting place to lay your head, let us now pray that you don't turn up dead.

I'll puzzle that one out when I've had more sleep, but here's the response for mine. Angel Grove is the first answer, but you've two parts to go. Hue of the leader of those that guard it, Put on the reason for gathering here.
A reiteration, but those were the next parts.

Ok, so much for this idea. But because I hate loose ends, here's the answer. Should be pretty easy to work backwards and explain the reasoning from there:
Sailor Mars.
Now tell me why.

This isn't the kind of thread you place into it's eye, However the object's eye is considered a bevel. Euthanasia is it's prime duty, Giving the innocent life an early end. Is it murder or part of a village's ritual? Very few people are able to see humanity in this story, Even though one of the three asks for this object in the end. Recite the title and the object you seek.

Alantar: Of course! Like a riddle once you've seen the answer... oh, wait.
Uhh, lessee... We gather here because of the Sailor Moon Abridged, Sailor Mars is red... so, what's Sailor Mars doing in an apple orchard?

Lathesis, Clotho, and Atropos Together they weave the threads of fate yet who decides who lives and dies? The one who weaves the cloth.

Greek mythology is so 6th grade. Atropos is the one who cuts the thread but Clotho determines the length of the thread. Unless you're making a metaphor for people that live. I'll say Clotho.
Michael Jackson was born and buried on August 29, 1/30 days under this sign. Howard Stern is on the radio named after the north star. The Ab-Tronic is worn by many stars, but only three make up this sign. This is a constellation that happened on one night. We celebrate this night every year. What event does the constellation reenact?

Clotho indeed was who I thought. I'm glad to see that I was able to worm a hint out of you, too. Virgo, Polaris, Belt of Orion (Nice, cleverly hidden), , I'm completely stumped on the last two. This one should be a no-brainer: The earth gives me form, The wind gives me motion, The flame gives me knowledge, The sea gives me wisdom, Humans give me purpose. Without any one of these, I am nothing. Together, who am I?
