Need Help writing a SM Fanfic

Because I love the SMA crew fuck bunches and because they're huge ass insperations NOT TO MENTION as a future apology for either A. Not being able to make an entry for Kris and Eric's DA contest or B. Failing at it hardcore, I've decided to make a fanfic with an orginal character and it'll basically be a retelling of Season One but with this character.

What I need from you guys is A. People who can help me keep my facts straight and to run ideas by makes sure it sounds good so I don't make crappy characters or a terrible generic fanfic

as well as someone who will be willing to Critique it so when/as I write it they can comment on it, tell me what I should fix and yadda ya.

Basically I'm trying to make a GOOD fanfic, which is hard for me, as I've made terrible fanfics over the years, but I want to show the crew that they're an inspiration, and I don't want to ruin something dedicated to them.

I've only read 1 good fanfic at it wasn't even really Fan Fiction
it was a Novelization of Silent Hill 2.

Well, fan fiction can potentially be entertaining in a it's so hilariously bad that it's good type of way.

However, if the TC isn't going for that, good luck. Fan Fiction isn't exactly a medium that lends itself to good writers.

Well I have to do SOMETHING!

I'm running out of ideas on how I can be awesome too, everything I try or want to try is doomed or doomed before it even starts.

I can't draw, voice act, make good videos, don't have extensive knowledge on anime and manga outside Shonen or life in general, I've pretty much ran out of ideas and writing is the only thing I have left

You don't have to be awesome if it's complicated for you. Hell, it isn't that complicated. The cast thinks I'm awesome because I'm genuinely hospitable to them and apparently I'm talented. I don't even call myself that, it just happens to be something I can really do but never thought of putting it to use until the right moment for the SMA cast or just Megami.

But seriously, whatever you can do, don't use it for something embarrassing like a fanfic. It's fine for the Anime, but not when it involves the people behind SMA. Save the poorly structured writing for live journals. As much as we don't like our favorite characters in a fanfic, we really don't want to see the abridgers in one either.

If you want to try something different maybe do claymation or make a board game based on SMA. Even with a below average level of skill, I believe both are unique and interesting enough to provide some entertainment value.

Hell, I'm sure there's plenty of innovative ideas out there you can get the ground floor on. Just have to think outside the box.

At the very least you can take credit for having an idea that stands out, rather then being one of the millions of people who attempt to make good fan fiction or art.

Yeah cause you know ASKING FOR PEOPLE TO BASICALLY GO CHAPTER BY CHAPTER WITH ME TO MAKE SURE IT DOESN'T SUCK BEFORE I ACTUALLY POST IT instead of just posting it outright is what EVERY fanfic writer does.

I made this thread for the sole purpose of making sure it wouldn't be a crappy run-of-the mill generic bad fanfic and that it would be enjoyable to read. But NOOOO just SHOOT ME DOWN JUST FOR USING THE WORD FANFIC.

And for the record IT'S NOT ABOUT THE CREW THEMSELVES OR THE CHARACTERIZATIONS THEY PORTRAY! IF THAT WAS THE CASE I'D HAVE CALLED THIS "Need Help writing an SMA Fanfic"

I get with all the bad fanfics made that it sounds bad, but come on, I ask for people to help me keep my facts straight and proofread my work and I get told "No, you suck, keep this Livejournal shit off our fandom"

I kinda assumed he had given up at this point.

I actually once wrote half an insert fic, but set after the end of Stars. In retrospect it kinda sucked, but because I'm OCD I still wanna finish the darn thing.

However, for the sake of discussion, re-writes are incredibly tricky. There are a few good ones out there, but they usually either a) drastically change almost everything after the break-point (usually these are in the 'what if?' vein) or b) are so utterly over-the-top that you can't help but laughing (see Nuke 'Em Till They Glow, though that was never finished).
