So yeah, thought I would let you all know the unfortunate news to come out of today, and that is that Inu was nearly thrown from one of the coasters at King's Dominion after the safety restraint system failed whilst the car was in motion. The only thing that prevented him from being thrown out of Rebel Yell and thus avoiding injury or death (due to where on the course it failed), was Inu hanging onto a support bar that was screwed into the seat in front of him.
Whilst Kirin knows Rebel Yell here's a video for those who've never been to KD before.
But we enjoyed the other rides we went on. Especially White Water Canyon and Dominator. 3x each.
Dominator is the largest floorless coaster in the world.

I still say those douchebags shouldn't have stopped running that coaster backwards. So now both you and I have almost died at King's Dominion, Inu. You on Rebel Yell, and me under the Hypersonic XLC......perhaps it's 'Final Destination'....0_0

Ah yes. Like Volcano, an extremely short and not very thrilling coaster.
It was dismantled during the winter of 2007-08.

Wait...which one was disassembled? Volcano or the Hypersonic? I liked Volcano...hated the wait, but it was fun for all of the 8 seconds the ride lasted. If it was Volcano, why in the hell did they take it down?

Hypersonic. Apparently it went down for maintenance so often that they decided to scrap it. Volcano is still there, but I didn't feel like the long wait for it.

Oh, well...that's no big loss, considering I never rode it nor had any desire to do so after it damn near killed me. It looked kinda stupid anyways...
Volcano was the first ride I rode the first time I went to Kings Dominion (and my 'official' first rollercoaster is Apollo's Chariot...but that's Busch Gardens) and the wait was OBSCENE but the ride itself is fun.
