Barley and Muckenfudge being lazy together. My sister's cat Caboodle as a kitten on the day I'd rescued him. Fudge batting a Christmas Tree Ornament. Barley snoozing away. And Barley in the backyard. Fudge in his Mama Mia pose. Fudge wondering why we're looking in on one of his many hiding places. Last but not least, a more current photo of Caboodle.

As someone pointed out by PM, I was stupid in not saying something important.
This is a thread for anyone who has photos of current or former pets that they would like to post.

So, how did you come across Mia and what sort of things does she like to do on a daily basis?

My little(although not so little) Russian Blue Rosco. This cat is my life, it tore me apart when I had to leave him to go to school. My very first kitty, K.C. Yes, that giant blob of grey is a cat. Funny thing is he was a cold, ill little runt when we found him about 8 years ago. My brother's cat, although he was really more of a family cat, Tuffy. Unfortunately his life was cut far too short and he passed away in early December. He was Rosco's best buddy, we found them together. My brother's dog Zoe, although she really should just be called a family dog because he doesn't take care of her. This was her as a puppy, about 5 months ago. She's not as cute anymore, and she lost pretty much all her black fur. Willow, our first female cat. When we found her she was pregnant and she was only supposed to stay until we found homes for all her kittens, but we ended up keeping her. Dog Spook. After the family dog of fifteen years died the person who lived across from the street from my grandparents was looking for someone to take their dog, so we took her. Cora. The most annoying evil high-strung little she-cat there is. She's the only female of Willow's kittens. We weren't supposed to keep her, but the person who was going to take her was going to declaw her, and that's just cruel so we ended up keeping her. Those are the indoor pets. My family has become the crazy cat people of the neighborhood, they're feeding like 10 feral cats.

So, how did you come across Mia and what sort of things does she like to do on a daily basis? We adopted Mia from the SPCA after another cat my family used to have, Eggroll, got killed by a car. Eggroll was everyone's cat but she was smitten with me for some reason so when she died, I was crushed. Since I had just turned 18 that September (this occurred December 5th), my mother took me to adopt a new cat and I picked her out. She's a bit schizoid. VERY sweet when she wants to be (at least with me) but sometimes she freaks out for no reason and takes off. She's not a lap cat (like all the other cats my family has), but when I visit home, she does still sleep with me every night. I wish I could have her at my apartment but they don't allow it. BTW, bluestarintears, your cat looks like one of ours in that first picture... s64.photobucket.com/albums/h197/kirin_no_rei_77/?action=view¤t=100_0398.jpgs64.photobucket.com/albums/h197/kirin_no_rei_77/Meatball%20and%20stuff/?action=view¤t=DSCF0427.jpgHere's a cat convention on my bed (the one in the middle, Daisy, is unfortunately dead now...) s64.photobucket.com/albums/h197/kirin_no_rei_77/?action=view¤t=2007_0326Sycophancy0018.jpgAnd, FWIW, this is Gus...and one of my disgusting double-jointed thumbs... s25.photobucket.com/albums/c62/kirinnorei77/?action=view¤t=100_0068.jpgAnd because I can't resist, Mia again... s64.photobucket.com/albums/h197/kirin_no_rei_77/Meatball%20and%20stuff/?action=view¤t=DSCF0456.jpg*squeals* I love cats!!!!

I see you also have a polydactyl cat like Fudge is. ^^ When we got Barley and Fudge, my mom wanted to name Fudge Mittens due to his front paws, but my sister refused.

Yep...Henry's actually got two extra toes on his one paw with nails that he can't retract because they're structured all weirdly. When we adopted Henry, his name was actually P-D (pronounced 'Petey') short for polydactyl but we all found that lame and changed his name to Henry which is equally lame. Henry's got all sorts of issues though...he's only got half a tail because he had frostbite as a kitten (he was found in a dumpster and all of his siblings froze to death...only Henry and his mother were still alive). He's so tragic. He also has the girliest meow of all time and I think he knows it because he rarely does it. *laughs* This is my mother's cat, Belle... s25.photobucket.com/albums/c62/kirinnorei77/?action=view¤t=DSCF0367.jpgWe've got dogs too, 3 of them, but I'm not a dog person so I don't have pics of them...

Hey, I wouldn't mind that....German Shepards are the only dog that I like and K-9 is chock full of them. I could see me owning one despite my dislike of dogs...

Fairfax County does has GS, but we'll put you with a Yellow Lab, so that you can sniff for drugs, explosives, and firearms (As it's illegal to drive a transport truck in Virginia with a firearm available to the driver).

Yeah, I know that....as long as it looks like a German Shepard, I'm good. I don't want to deal with that hip disease they get either...
