As someone with absolutely no artistic talent, they all look good to me, especially the Hockey player ones.

Gawww, you guys. Thank you for all your compliments. I don't have much in the way of confidence in my artistic abilities because it's just something I do on the side and don't intend to ever try and make money off of. That, and my best friend runs CIRCLES around me artistically. ;D I've got plenty more drawings/paintings of Brodeur....problem is they're TERRIBLE pictures (like the one in the middle from my last post...that's one of my favorites and the damn camera did it no justice whatsoever. ), so until I learn how to piece things together from a scanner (they're drawn on rather big paper), I don't know how successful I'll be at sharing them. @solidsnake-God, don't call it a rat. I know a certain someone who would lecture you allllll day on the various differences between rodents (I myself lump them all together as 'rats'...but she seems to have a thing for them). It's actually supposed to be a chinchilla and that one was a watercolor painting as well. ;D @krisrix- Me? I've been 22 for a whole 2 and a half months....whee! Thank you for saying such things but I've seen your artwork and I pale in comparison (besides, you have that epic voice to contend with....I assure you, my voice is unpleasant at best....it's all deep and stuff ). But thank you for the compliment. My favorite media is scratchboard and here are a few examples of that.... s25.photobucket.com/albums/c62/kirinnorei77/?action=view¤t=DSCF0380.jpgs25.photobucket.com/albums/c62/kirinnorei77/?action=view¤t=DSCF0379.jpgs25.photobucket.com/albums/c62/kirinnorei77/?action=view¤t=DSCF0375.jpgs25.photobucket.com/albums/c62/kirinnorei77/?action=view¤t=DSCF0373.jpgThis is my really HUGE piece of scratchboard (Seriously, this thing is like 3 feet long) s25.photobucket.com/albums/c62/kirinnorei77/?action=view¤t=PICT0287.jpg...I haven't done any of that stuff in quite some time though so all of these are several years old (that's mainly because I can't find ANY scratchboard where I live and when I do, it's expensive as hell) Here, this relates to this forum...I did these when I was fourteen...yeah, it's drawn from something but still..it's my two favorite characters! s25.photobucket.com/albums/c62/kirinnorei77/?action=view¤t=sexyromance.jpgAnd this one was my favorite fight scene between Rei and Serena for the longest kind of time... s25.photobucket.com/albums/c62/kirinnorei77/?action=view¤t=battleoftheages.jpgAnd despite Lita not topping my favs list, I adore this damn drawing.... s25.photobucket.com/albums/c62/kirinnorei77/?action=view¤t=Mako-chan.jpgAnd this one is a result of my and my fiance fighting over the best sailor and best attack way back when (he's a die-hard Makoto fan) Despite it's oldness, I love this drawing. s25.photobucket.com/albums/c62/kirinnorei77/?action=view¤t=PICT0268.jpgThis one's frickin' CLASSIC and got me in huge trouble on the other forum I belong to... ;D s64.photobucket.com/albums/h197/kirin_no_rei_77/?action=view¤t=Rakka-tan.jpgHere's another couple of drawings from a few years back that I adore. This would be my Kingdom of Loathing character design...(that's actually colored pencil...I color really hard 0_0) s64.photobucket.com/albums/h197/kirin_no_rei_77/?action=view¤t=Picture006.jpgs64.photobucket.com/albums/h197/kirin_no_rei_77/?action=view¤t=PhotobucketMess005.jpgThere are no words for this one... s64.photobucket.com/albums/h197/kirin_no_rei_77/?action=view¤t=Picture005.jpgAnd that's really all that's worth showing in my two Photobucket accounts. Except this... s64.photobucket.com/albums/h197/kirin_no_rei_77/?action=view¤t=DSCF0440.jpgI didn't draw that, it's just amazing. ;D

I'm impressed as well. I hope you keep at it even if you don't pursue any career in it as long as it makes you happy to draw then thats good

Awww...you guys are all so damn nice. *looks down all embarrassed-like* Thank you for all the wonderful comments. When I stop being so lazy (which may be in my next lifetime), I'll find some more crap in my little portfolio thing (it's real classy....two pieces of matte board taped together ) and post it.

I'm too cheap to invest the 20 bucks in an actual portfolio...that WOULD save me from having to unstick my artwork from the tape on the bottom of my makeshift portfolio though.

I think your sketches are fine, youkuro. Back in the 'before time' when I was still in high school (oh God, it HAS been 4 years since I left already! ), I had an art teacher like that that hated pretty much everything I drew. Why? Because I didn't draw what SHE wanted me to. I admit it, I HATE drawing people and since I had her for each year I had art in high school (meaning all four years) and she was hot for figure drawing pretty much every DAY, we didn't get along too well. But who the hell cares? Art's no good unless the person creating it is enjoying the work. If you need to take art classes to get into college for art (I was going that direction then changed my mind), do it and humor the teacher. Once you get into college, you'll probably have to humor the professor as well. But once all is said and done and you have that degree in hand, you can draw whatever it is that your heart desires. Don't let one person discourage you, youkuro. You have potential and if you enjoy what you draw, screw what anyone else thinks. ;D
