Since there isn't a sub forum about video games, I guess this is the best place to put this.
As I said in the introduction thread, 2 of my favorite games are Mario RPG and Earthbound. Mario RPG was the first RPG I've played and up to this day, even after having beat it 25+ times, is still awesome. Earthbound I find to be one of the more unique RPGs and very humorous at times.
Other RPG games I've really enjoyed were Mother 3 (sequel to earthbound), some of the Final Fantasies, Xenosaga/Xenogears, Persona 3, and the Shadow Heart series.
Of course there's also the classics like Mario 1-3, the early Sonic games, and various Atari games.

OK, you're really on the ball today. I don't think that was even 2 minutes...
Forgot the Zelda series. Those were good, especially Link to the Past. Also forgot Streets of Rage and Final Fight. 2D side scrolling Beatemups is the one genre that needs to make a comeback.

I'm not a very big gamer but, Sonic anything (with a few exceptions). Knuckles is my bitch. The Zelda series sucks, I'm sorry. I don't have the patience or the attention span for a game like that...what with all the thinking and puzzles and such. I'd rather be able to mash buttons and win.
I will admit though, even at 22 years old, I still think the Pokemon games (please note I said GAMES not TV series) is entertaining.
I'm also very partial to Kirby games because as happy and frilly as they are, they entertain me.
Also, the N64 was the best system EVER.

I'm gonna have to go with Devil May Cry 3 as one of my favorites. Another being Final Fantasy X [The only FF game I've played... ^^;] and Guilty Gear XX Accent Core. Unfortunately, I'm stuck with a PS2 so my selections are limited as to what I can play.

I think I remember KrisRix saying her favorite game once.. I'm having trouble remembering it though. I figure it'll come back as a deafening shout or some sort of ritual scarring on my back...
Anyway, Disgaea series... Disgaea Disgaea Disgaea! Great storyline, and a whole lot of fun in customization and characters.

Narrowing down my favorite games to make this not a "long post is long" kinda thing I'll just go top 3 for most systems I own, sans PSP because I only have ONE (still waiting on Birth By Sleep Square)
PSP- Crisis Core
DS- FF4, The World Ends with You, Mario and Luigi Partners in Time
N64- Paper Mario, Ocarina of Time, Mario 64
Gamecube- Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door, Twilight Princess, Path of Radiance
Wii- SSBB, No More Heros, One Piece Unlimited Adventure
Playstation 1- FF7, Megaman X4, Threads of Fate (underrated but worth looking up)
Playstaion 2- Metal Gear Solid 3, FF12, God Of War 2
Playstaion 3: Metal Gear Solid 4, Lego Batman, Dead Space (question is WHICH shall Little Big Planet replace? My money is on the one that made me depressed at the end)
PSP will be adding two games to it soon soon and Partners in Time will most likely switch with Chrono Trigger, hell I was actually edging toward FFTA2 but I already made it clear I'm a FF and basically RPG fan when it comes to games.

Just beat the first "Shining Force" game and it was much better than I thought it would be. If the following games are as good, this series has the potential to be on my favorites.
Another game I forgot about was Shinobi 3. The other Shinobi games for the most part I thought were decent, but this one was perfect in about every way. Probably my favorite Genesis game.
And before I make another post saying another game I forgot, I will add "Secret of Mana" and it's sequel "Seiken Densetsu 3". There needs to be more games like these. Too bad the newer Mana games decided to change the formula.
