the only time i watched it was when i went to my cousin's house found her and my sis watching it. note: this was the time where not everyone had cartoon network...the nostalgic period of cartoon network. also i remember when toonami rarely played sailor moon r the movie.
did anyone watch that one response to the sma contest 2? the one where that guy has a sailor moon barbie doll shit. who in their right mind would buy and play with it?

That guy shouldn't show his face for a long time...anyways When i first saw Sailor moon it was the first 5 episodes of the dub while on vacation in Florida then one day my little cousin got her hands on the Super S movie and i saw it.
i got Hooked although i was lost not knowing who the outers or Chibiusa were then i was finally able to see the Super S when it aired on toonami and even with out knowing the truth i knew there was no way in hell Haruka and Michiru were cousins it was way to creepy to think it .Now im trying to watch the whole series in Spanish but haven't been able to finish watching the whole series yet...Yep sucks to be me.

I really love the S season. Sure, Classics and R provided lots of exposition and plot points, but S brought the kick ass Tenou Haruka and Kaioh Michiru, and the emo Sailor everyone likes, Sailor Saturn. SuperS felt like a filler to me and Stars should have ended like the manga, with Usagi's final form, Sailor Cosmos. I feel that if the Sailors got their sailor crystals, like they did in the manga [Ami from Guardian Mercury, Kakoto from Guardian Jupiter, Minako from Artemis, and Rei from Phobos and Deimos (her crows)] that would have been more satisfying.

My favorite season is S from the anime, I like Stars but the ending in the manga I like more. My least favorite season was the first part of R-The Doom Tree with the aliens. SuperS has its moments but in the end it could have been much better. Overall I do like both anime and manga but plotwise I prefer the manga.

My least favorite season was the first part of R-The Doom Tree with the aliens. as far as i'm concerned, i think the doom tree arc is nothing but a glorified shojo verison of dbz's tree of might movie

Meh I just put it like this
"This is the part without Rini, this is the one with her, and this is the one with her actually having powers."
Remember people I was one of those lil boys that was drawn in by the pig tailed blonde's figure

That works.
If you happen to see the last season too, just add in "the one with the transvestites" and then you're set.

I had just finished watching all 200 subbed eps, and am now halfway through the manga. Of course, if it wasn't for SMA, I would never had given Sailor Moon a second thought, as I had seen a few episodes of the DiC version when I was younger, and thought it was horrible.
Anyway, I'd rate the seasons like this: 1. Season 1 (Everyone is introduced, initial setup, see the initial growing pains of SM)
2. Sailor Stars (Yeah, yeah, I know. I actually had a hard time which one to put here, Stars or S. Both had great action, both did a lot to the story, but I went with Stars since the battle was more apocalyptic)
3. Sailor Moon S (Very close, would say 2.5. Big chunk of story advancement, Uranus and Neptune kick major ass)
4. Sailor Moon R (Pretty good, advanced some story, but it seemed that the enemy simply got in the way of the goal of the season, rather than being the enemy)
5. Sailor Moon SuperS (Ugh....definitely a struggle to get through. Very little story development, horrible enemies, just filler)
Hadn't seen the movies yet, that's my next goal after I finish reading the manga.

I like all dubs really. My fav season is R, S, Super S and Stars. And god star seeds, pure hearts, talismans and dream mirrors? Naoko u are one killer manga artist.

Well, if there's one thing I learned from Sailor Moon is that people have a lot of random magical shit in them.

....there's something I've been wondering for some time, even when I was a kid I asked this, but why did Nephlite's Crystal react to Molly again?

My guess was that it was actually reacting to her love as lame as that sounds.
Maybe the writers were originally planning on making her more important later and have magical powers?
