In all honesty, I think I'd rather read My Immortal (google worst fanfiction ever. Trust me, it'll be there.) in all its amazingly crappy, all-caps glory than Twilight. Now, to be fair, if you like it than that's fair enough, but it just smacked a bit too much of Mary Sue self-insert ZOMG WANGST for me. I was forced to go see it with my friend and this bunch of 14 year old girls were giggling hysterically all the way through the frickin' movie. Like All. The. Way. So I may be a little biased.

So I just saw the movie (on youtube shame on...well no). Wow...CRAP, although it was fairly close to the story I just hate it got all teeny bopper like. One thing that annoyed me the most is the effing background music. I swear it sounds like the film company one night went to Disney and stole all the background music from Disney Channel movies. I was ready to hang myself. The books are all right but the movie was just crap.

Disregarding Twilight throwing the vampire mythos out the window so the author could do whatever the hell she wants no matter how stupid (sparking in the sunlight ) I just think in my personal honest opinion that the books are just plain bad. Bella is a Mary Sue with no real personality. The book takes great lengths to describe how oh so perfect looking Edward is in just about ever part he's in. The book is just written like fanfiction as a whole.

The worst thing about Twilight is the fangirls. All the fangirls are like 'I LOVE EDWARD CULLEN, I WILL NO LONGER DATE REAL GUYS, ONLY EDWARD!!!' It's like seriously wtf? They make Harry Potter fans and Trekkies look like calm people. And I agree that Twilight seems to only appeal to teenage girls. It doesn't appeal to all age groups, gender groups etc.

Personally, I'm not the biggest fan of twilight but it's somewhat tolerable, 'tis coming from an anti.when you through out every vampire myth out of the window you lose me as a possible "buyer-of-twilight-merchandise",SMeyer.. but what really bugs me is the insane part of the fanbase that can't take a different opinion if it differs from their own, and that the fact that Bella Swan is such a Mary-sue/self-insertion of the author that it should be considered morally repugnant. :P
Not to offend anyone here, though, i don't mean to if i do, okay?

Did any of you hear that some Twilight fans have attacked people who don't like Twilight?

When you say attacked you mean physically and not verbally right? If so, what's the story behind that?
