Yeah that tweet had me suspicious....they could be continuing. We won't know until episode 41 appears.

I can't speak for the SMA crew... But while it'd be neat if they did continue after this season, it's not worth kicking up a fuss over if they don't. ^^' They have lives, ones that don't revolve around this series. Best not to put that kind of pressure on them, eh?

Best not to put that kind of pressure on them, eh? I completely agree. I mean it would be nice to at least see the Alien Arc, but if this becomes like a second job to them it will only ruin the series. The last episode was great and I think it's best to end it on a bang.

Assuming they DID continue with R (which would be fucking awesome), that would probably be it. It's the only other season done by DiC. And lord knows how much they loved to make cheesy lines that are perfect for jokes.

if they do keep going, the scenario that makes the most sense to happen is that they make the announcement at new york anime festival. so i would wait until then...

When is the New York Anime Festival? Is that coming up soon?

When is the New York Anime Festival? Is that coming up soon? the last weekend of september[25, 26 and 27 to be exact], but they haven't said that they're going yet, so i could be wrong about this altogether. but either way, it's a win-win situation IMO. if they don't continue, i think they left it at a real good stopping point. if they do keep going, well more power to them and i look forward to it! and don't forget that just because the season 1 is over, doesn't mean that they're completely done. there are still blooper reels and vlogs[maybe even commentaries if they choose to do so] that are still going to come out for a while.

I honestly think that this is the end of SMA with maybe a few more specials, movies, and bloopers to come....but with what has been happening with the SMA crew and their busy lives....they might not have enough time to do SMA....sadly....i wish the would but....i'm very skeptical.

I mean, really, they might not even continue it though...If they don't I am going to be so pissed. Also, since this is the only anime I like that has put out new episodes in the past month, or year for that matter, I will probably never even touch anime again if SMA doesn't contimue...

When is the New York Anime Festival? Is that coming up soon? The last weekend of September. Hopefully some of us can either convince them to do more or have them continue enjoying their lives off the internet. Plus I'll have something special to ask of Megami, but "I'll never tell...ANY OF YOU!!!" (-)Youkuro

I kinda have to disagree. Cloverway also used some pretty cheesy lines not to mention some really tacky 90's teen lingo. It was the nineties. They wanted to sound relevant. They may have failed epically, but at least one good thing came out of that dub. Now if only I could find it...

It will be weird if they stop SMA. But I can understand why they would. KrisRix mentioned in her 10 facts that she might go off to graduate school in Canada. Let's just say without KrisRix it wouldn't be as entertaining. Well, she could record her stuff from her dorm or wherever she's staying and use email, MediaFile, or whatever to get it to Megami. Yeah, I doubt it'll be quite as fun with everyone crammed in Megami's basement, but it's still doable. I don't think the alien arc should be dumped altogether, but maybe cram a whole bunch of episodes into one so it's done in about 5 episodes. After all, the entire arc is filler with the only plot points being the Scouts re-awakening and Sailor Moon getting her new transformation and attack. Assuming they DID continue with R (which would be fucking awesome), that would probably be it. It's the only other season done by DiC. And lord knows how much they loved to make cheesy lines that are perfect for jokes. ColverWey had more than its share of crappy writing, too. In fact, I'm sure they could have fun with the whole lesbians-turned-cousins thing.
